My review is three years too late but I was deleting old emails and came across my dealing with PropTension. Just seeing how they made me run from pillar to post for my deposit prompted me to write this review. I rented a property at DLF Westend Heights from them in 2018. The property was handed over to me in a bad condition. The kitchen trolleys in the modular kitchen were caked with oil, the bathroom mirror in the master bedroom was covered in pigeon poop, and the house itself was dusty. If you’re renting with them, don’t make the mistake I made by not taking photos of the property before moving in as proof. I cleaned all this myself and lived there for 3 years during which the rent increased by 10% each year rather than the standard 5%. Before I moved out in early 2022, I had the whole apartment cleaned and handed it back in a better condition than it was given to me. Aside from one month’s rent as painting charges, this company added GST to the painting charges which came up to 27,000 rather than 23,000. Further they wanted 16,000 as repair charges for things like the tube light wasn’t working (again, I lived there for 3 years, wear and tear is not a repair), cleaning charges for another 5000, chimney cleaning charges for 1000 and the absolute cherry on the cake: PENALTY OF A WHOOPING 23,100 for vacating the property before 11 months! They tried to deduct 73,000 of my 1 lakh deposit! I managed to get some of it back because I hired a lawyer to help me BUT MY ADVICE for any TENANT wanting to rent with them - DON’T. You will not get your deposit back. And if you absolutely must, then go through the contract with a fine-tooth comb because they will have a hundred hidden clauses and loopholes. I’m sure they’ll try to deny these allegations but if anyone wants further proof, contact me separately and I’ll be happy to share email receipts of my communication with them.

An extremely irritating and difficult to work with company. I lived in an apartment managed by them for more than 1.5 years - they were never ever responsive, did not help with anything and were purely money minded. I wasted more money and energy talking to the people at this company. As a tenant, I would not recommend working with this company. Even in terms of deposit, they didnt pay us back for so much non-sense. Not sure what satisfies them by making money THIS way. Hated Proptension.

I'm extremely disappointed with the service provided by this property management agent. They're allegedly taking advantage of both tenants and owners, prioritizing their own interests over providing quality service 😡. Their service has been subpar, with no proper communication or support. I've had terrible experiences with them, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone 🙅♂️. Their intention are only to loot money both from onwers and tenants. Worst service seen in my life.

Worstest team ever found. We liked and apartment at PWC and then we finalised the cost. After that they took 3 months to discover that they didn't had all the papers and then started asking extra money from us for which the seller should pay. Wasted our valuable time depending on them and also the token advance that was paid is not returned. Please do not fall into this.
